How To Make Easy Turkey Quinoa Meatballs
Make your turkey meatballs healthier and more filling by adding some quinoa into the mix.
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground turkey meat
- 1 egg , beaten
- ¾ cup quinoa, cooked
- 3 cloves garlic , minced
- ¼ cup red onion, diced
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup parsley , chopped
- 2 tbsp basil, chopped
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- extra parsley , or some lettuce, optional
Instructions

Set your oven to around 350 degrees F.

Apply cooking spray to a baking sheet.

Mix the meat, egg, spices, and the other ingredients into a bowl.

Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the baking sheet.

Bake them in the preheated oven for around 30 minutes.

Heat the two cups of tomato sauce in a saucepan while the meatballs are in the oven.

Put the turkey meatballs in once baked and add some extra parsley or some lettuce leaves (optional).
