How To Make Easy Turkey Quinoa Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey meat
  • 1 egg , beaten
  • ¾ cup quinoa, cooked
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • ¼ cup red onion, diced
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup parsley , chopped
  • 2 tbsp basil, chopped
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • extra parsley , or some lettuce, optional

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to around 350 degrees F.

  2. Apply cooking spray to a baking sheet.

  3. Mix the meat, egg, spices, and the other ingredients into a bowl.

  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the baking sheet.

  5. Bake them in the preheated oven for around 30 minutes.

  6. Heat the two cups of tomato sauce in a saucepan while the meatballs are in the oven.

  7. Put the turkey meatballs in once baked and add some extra parsley or some lettuce leaves (optional).
