How To Make Beet Burgers
Sweet potatoes, quinoa, and trail mix are thrown together to make these deliciously healthy vegetarian beet burgers that’s baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients
- 2½sweet potatoes,mashed, cooked
- 1½cupsquinoa,cooked, cooled
- ¾cuptrail mix
- 1large golden beet,grated
- 1red beet,grated
- ½cupwhole wheat flour
- ½cupwhole wheat bread crumbs
- ⅓cupolive oil
- ½red onion,minced
- 5tbspparsley,minced
- 3tbsptamari
- 1tbspsea salt
- 4garlic cloves,minced
- ½tspred pepper flakes
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a baking sheet.

Combine the sweet potatoes, quinoa, trail mix, golden beet, red beet, flour, bread crumbs, oil, onion, parsley, tamari, sea salt, garlic, and red pepper flakes in a large bowl.

Mix by hand until the burger mix is thoroughly combined. Divide burger mix into 10 portions. Press each one firmly into a patty.

Place on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until golden brown.

Serve warm in buns, and enjoy!
