Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2ground beef patties
  • 2burger buns
  • 7ozheavy cream
  • 4cupswhite wine
  • 1red onion,diced
  • 3cupsmushroom
  • 2black figs,sliced
  • salt and pepper,to taste

Instructions

Sauce:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

  2. Add the red onion, then sauté for 1 to 2 minutes.

  3. Add the sliced mushrooms, then sauté for another 2 to 3 minutes. Season with salt.

  4. Add the white wine and cream to deglaze the mushrooms.

  5. Let simmer for 5 minutes.

Burgers:

  1. Cook the patties on the BBQ or stovetop until cooked through.

  2. Toast the buns while cooking the patties.

  3. Slice the figs.

  4. Top the patties with mushroom sauce and the sliced fig before topping the buns.

  5. Serve, and enjoy!
