How To Make BBQ Turkey Burgers
Grab a bite of these turkey burgers coated in a savory BBQ sauce for your next grill out! It’s made with a tangy coleslaw for a fuller meal.

Ingredients
- 1lbsround turkey,extra lean
- 2garlic cloves,crushed
- ½red onion,grated
- 1egg
- 2tbspbarbecue sauce,plus more to serve
- 1tbspWorcestershire sauce
- ½cuppanko breadcrumbs
- 2tbspparsley,finely chopped, plus more to garnish
- 1tspground paprika
- ½tspred chilli,or pepper flakes powder
- salt and pepper,1 pinch
- 5light cheddar cheese slices,or cheese of choice
- 5sourdough bread rolls,or rolls of choice, halved
For Greek Yogurt Coleslaw:
- 3tbspGreek yogurt
- 1tbspwhole egg mayonnaise,light
- ¼cupcabbage,sliced
- ¼cupcarrots,sliced
- ¼cupred capsicum,bell peppers, sliced
- ¼cupred cabbage,sliced
- salt,to season
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the turkey, garlic, onion, egg, sauces, breadcrumbs, parsley, paprika, red chili, salt, and pepper.

Using hands, mix until combined into the turkey.

Divide into five patties, pressing firmly into shape.

Preheat a nonstick pan or griddle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil on medium-high heat.

Add the patties, then fry until cooked through and seared on both sides.

Add the cheese slice on top of each patty while still in the pan, just before removing them, to melt and warm through.

Slice the buns in half, then toast them under the grill or broiler, if desired.

Mix the Greek yogurt and mayonnaise together in a bowl.

Add the cabbage, carrots, red capsicum, and red cabbage, then mix through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the burgers with the patty, pile the coleslaw high, and drizzle with extra barbecue sauce and top with extra parsley, and enjoy!
