How To Make Homemade Beer Battered Chicken Nuggets
Ingredients
- 10 oz chicken breast, boneless and skinless, cut into bite-sized nugget pieces
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup cornstarch
- 1½ cups beer, of your choice
- 1 egg
- ¼ tsp salt
- 5 cups vegetable oil
To Serve:
- 1 cup balsamic bbq
- 1 cup honey-onion mustard sauce
Instructions
-
Prepare a pot heated with oil for deep frying.
-
In a bowl, sift together the flour, cornstarch, and salt.
-
Add the beer and egg. Whisk until you achieve a batter-like consistency
-
Dip the chicken pieces into the batter, making sure that the pieces are well coated.
-
Slowly lower the pieces into the hot oil and let them fry for 2 to 5 minutes until they turn golden brown.
-
Once the pieces are done frying, remove them and let them sit on a paper towel to absorb the extra oil. Repeat this process until all the chicken pieces have been fried.
-
Plate your chicken nuggets and serve with a dipping sauce of your choice. Enjoy!
