How To Make Teriyaki Kimchi Fried Rice with Tofu

Go Asian with this Teriyaki Kimchi Fried Rice made with a fusion of Japanese and Korean flavors and marinated tofu for a healthier meal.

Ingredients

  • 2cupsfirm tofu,diced
  • 1cupteriyaki sauce
  • 1tbspvegetable oil
  • cupskimchi
  • 2large eggs
  • 2cupswhite rice,cooked
  • 2tbspsoy sauce
  • 1tbspsesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the tofu and teriyaki sauce. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

  2. In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated tofu and cook for about 5 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove the tofu from the pan and set aside.

  3. To the same pan, add the kimchi and cook for about 3 minutes until heated through.

  4. In a small nonstick pan, fry the eggs over easy for about 2 minutes.

  5. Add the rice, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Cook for about 5 minutes until heated through.

  6. Top with the fried eggs and serve.
