How To Make Papa's Chili
An incredibly easy recipe for tasty and hearty chili! The most difficult part of this recipe is waiting for it to boil down and simmer away, but it's definitely beneficial for a more succulent ground meat with a richer sauce from slowly cooking everything together.
Ingredients
- 4 lb ground chuck
- 4 cans tomato sauce
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 can tomatoes
- 4 tbsp chili powder
- 1 onion, large
- 4 cans chili beans
- 2 tsp hot sauce
- salt and pepper , to taste
Instructions
- In pan cook meat and onion.
- Drain grease.

Add 1 can of tomato sauce and 1 tablespoon of chili powder.

In large pot, add the remaining 3 cans of tomato sauce, a can of tomatoes, tomato paste, 2 tablespoons of chili powder and salt and pepper.
- Cook on medium heat.

Add 4 cans of chili beans and the meat and onion mixture.
- You can add more chili powder and hot sauce to your taste.

Let simmer on low heat 2 to 5 hours.
