How To Make Crockpot Salisbury Steak

Cream of chicken soup and gravy mix gives this crockpot Salisbury steak a boost of flavor to the slow-cooked, tender meat!

Ingredients

  • 2lbslean ground beef
  • 1pkgonion soup
  • ½cupitalian breadcrumbs
  • ¼cupcold milk
  • ¼cupall-purpose flour
  • 2tbspvegetable oil
  • 2canscream of chicken soup,condensed
  • 1ozau jus gravy mix,(1 packet)
  • ¾cupwater

Instructions

  1. Using the hands, combine ground beef, onion soup mix, bread crumbs and milk in a large bowl. Form 8 patty shapes.

  2. Dredge the patties in flour on both sides to coat lightly.

  3. In a large skillet, heat oil; once heated, brown the patties on both sides.

  4. Place the patties into a crockpot; if the crockpot is smaller, stack them in a pyramid shape.

  5. In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, au jus mix, and water. Pour over the patties and cook on Low for 4 for 5 hours, until the patties are well done.

  6. Serve warm and enjoy.
