How To Make Crockpot Pasta Sauce with Sausage

Serve this 5-ingredient Crockpot Pasta Sauce with Sausage over your favorite pasta and finish off with shredded Parmesan cheese on top of a delicious meal.

  • 1lblean chicken Italian sausage,casings removed
  • 1tspextra virgin olive oil
  • 5garlic cloves,smashed
  • 28ozTuttorosso crushed tomatoes
  • fresh cracked pepper


  1. Brown the sausage in a large skillet, breaking up any large pieces with a wooden spoon.

  2. When sausage is browned, drain if needed then add to crockpot.

  3. Clean skillet with a paper towel and set flame to high; when hot, add oil.

  4. Add garlic and cook until golden but do not burn; add tomatoes and garlic to crockpot along with fresh cracked pepper. Cover and cook on Low for about 6 to 8 hours.

  5. If you wish, blend the sauce with an immersion blender for about 2 to 3 seconds to break the sausage up into smaller pieces to combine with the sauce.
