How To Make Cheesy Ground Beef and Rice Casserole Recipe

A delicious and comforting casserole dish made with ground beef, rice, and lots of cheesy goodness.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onions, and garlic until beef is browned and onions are softened.

  3. In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and add rice. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until rice is cooked.

  4. Add cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, and half of the shredded cheese to the skillet with the ground beef. Mix well.

  5. Pour mixture into a 9×13 inch casserole dish. Top with remaining shredded cheese.

  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
