
How To Make Chinese-Inspired Beef Casserole
This Chinese-Inspired Beef Casserole is the perfect recipe for leftover rice. Saute the celery and onions for gorgeous caramelized vegetables. Bake the beef and rice with cream of chicken soup for a thick sauce to pair for such a meaty dish!
Ingredients
- ½ cup celery, chopped
- ½ cup green onion, chopped
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ cup cooked rice
- 10 oz cream of chicken soup, (1 can)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 cup water
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

In a saucepan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it starts to brown slightly.

Toss in the celery and green onion.

Saute the vegetables until they begin to caramelize.

Once the ground beef has browned fully, remove the excess oil.

Place the rice, cream of chicken soup, soy sauce, water, cooked beef, and vegetables in a 2½ quart casserole dish.

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
