This chicken casserole recipe is the perfect hearty dish without the fuss. Infused with the flavor of beef broth slowly cooking away the chicken chunks and balanced out with millet.

  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 large onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2/3 cup millet
  • 10 1/2 oz. beef broth
  • 2 cup chicken cooked, chopped


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet and saute the onion and garlic over medium heat.
  3. Add millet and brown lightly.
  4. Stir in beef broth and chicken, then pour into a 2-quart casserole dish.
  5. Cover dish and bake for about 45 minutes, or until millet is tender.
