How To Make Cheesy Broccoli Casserole
Use this broccoli casserole recipe to sneak in some greens into your meals. The cheese sauce makes this dish creamy and comforting too!

Ingredients
- 2lbfresh broccolicut into bite sized pieces
- 3tbspbutter
- ½mediumoniondiced
- 3tbspall-purpose flour
- ¼tspsalt
- 1tspdry mustard powder
- 1 ½cupsmilk
- 4ozcream cheese
- 1cupsharp cheddar cheeseshredded
- ½cupparmesan cheese
For Topping:
- 1cupbuttery crackerscoarsely crushed
- ¼cupcheddar
- 2tbspbuttermelted
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Boil broccoli in a large pot for2 to 3 minutes or until tender crisp. Drain very well.

In a saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender.

Add in flour, salt, and dry mustard, and allow to cook for 1 minute.

Add milk a little bit at a time whisking after each addition until smooth.

Continue whisking over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Stir in cream cheese until smooth.

Remove from heat and add in cheddar and parmesan cheeses.

Toss with broccoli and pour into a 3-quart baking dish.

Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over broccoli cheese mixture.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through and bubbly.
