How To Make Marinated Wild Salmon

To fully enjoy a fish dish, the fresher the catch, the better. Next time you go fishing, try this salmon recipe marinated with white balsamic vinegar.

Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 15 minutes
Rest Time: 6 hours
Total: 6 hours 30 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4salmon fillets
  • Salt and pepperto taste
  • 1tbsponion powder
  • 1tspred pepper flakescrushed
  • ¼cupolive oil
  • ¼cupfresh lemon juice
  • 4clovesgarlicminced
  • 3tbspwhite balsamic vinegar
  • 2tbspwhite sugar
  • 2tbspgreen onionschopped
  • 2tbspcilantrochopped

Instructions

  1. Season fillets with salt and pepper, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Set aside in a baking dish.

  2. In a medium bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, balsamic vinegar, sugar, green onions, and cilantro.

  3. Pour marinade over salmon; cover, and refrigerate overnight, or at least 6 hours.

  4. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

  5. Arrange salmon on a broiling sheet. Place in a preheated oven, and bake for 5 minutes. Increase heat to 500 degrees F, turn fillets, and broil 5 minutes more.
