How To Make Braised Chicken Breast with Mushrooms
Enjoy succulent bites of this seasoned braised chicken, that’s cooked in a flavorful broth with wine, mushrooms, and onions, for a rich and filling meal!

Ingredients
- 4tbspolive oil,divided
- 3chicken breasts,boneless, skinless
- 1tspkosher salt,divided
- ½tspcoarse ground black pepper,divided
- 8ozCrimini mushrooms,sliced
- ½yellow onion,diced
- 2garlic cloves,minced
- 1cupwhite wine
- 2cupschicken broth
Instructions

Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to a Dutch oven on medium heat. Season the chicken with half the salt and pepper, then sear the chicken for 4 to 5 minutes on each side.

Remove the chicken from the pan, then add in the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add in the mushrooms and onions and sear well for about 6 to 8 minutes until browned.

Season with remaining salt and pepper, add in the garlic, and stir. Add in the white wine, stir and cook for about 10 minutes until reduced by half.

Add in the chicken broth, nestle the chicken back into the pot, and cook for 15 to 20 minutes until sauce is reduced by 75%.
