How To Make Thai Barbecue Chicken

A delicious Thai marinade of soy sauce, fish sauce, and cilantro gives so much flavor to this barbecue chicken. This is best served with grilled vegetables.

Total: 25 minutes



  • 2lbschicken thighs,boneless
  • cupfresh cilantro,chopped
  • 1tbspginger,minced
  • 1tbspgarlic,minced
  • tbspsoy sauce
  • tbspfish sauce
  • tbspolive oil
  • tbspbrown sugar
  • cilantro for garnish,chopped
  • fresh veggies for grilling,optional


  1. In a small bowl combine cilantro ginger, garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, olive oil and brown sugar. Add the chicken to a ziplock bag and marinate for 3 hours or overnight.

  2. Preheat the grill to medium high heat. Grill the chicken about 3 to 4 minutes each side or until cooked throughout and no longer pink.

  3. Serve over grilled veggies if desired. Garnish with additional cilantro and red pepper flakes.
