How To Make Grilled Sesame-Soy Shishito Peppers
This grilled shishito peppers recipe is easy and quick to make, with the peppers marinated in sesame oil and soy sauce, for a spicy and salty appetizer.
Whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic in a large bowl. Add the shishito peppers and toss to combine.
Let marinate for 15 to 20 minutes, tossing occasionally.
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and heat a grill pan.
Remove the peppers from the marinade, letting excess marinade drip back into the bowl.
Place the peppers on the grill pan and cook, tossing every 1 to 2 minutes, until evenly charred for 5 to 7 minutes.
Return the peppers to the bowl with marinade and toss. Sprinkle with salt, if desired.
Serve and enjoy.
