How To Make Grilled Chicken Breasts with Apple-Cranberry Glaze
The apple-cranberry glaze makes this dish a must-have on all occasions. The sweetness of apple and cranberry adds a refreshing flavor to the chicken.
Ingredients
Apple-cranberry glaze
- 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp dried cranberries, finely diced
- ½ cup apple preserves , or jam
- salt, to taste
- white pepper , to taste
Chicken
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, 4-6 oz. each
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
To make apple-cranberry glaze:

In a small saucepan, heat the vinegar and sugar over medium heat until the mixture boils and the sugar dissolves.

Add the apple preserves or jam, whisk in the dried cranberries and bring it to a boil.

Remove from heat.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
To make chicken:

Preheat the grill to medium-high.

Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil.

Place the chicken on the grill and cook until the juices run clear for 6 to 8 minutes per side.
