Ingredients

  • 4 lbs. pork spare ribs
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 onions, peeled and chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 red chilies, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp. fennel seeds, crushed
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup dark soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup tomato ketchup
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

  9. Serve with the remaining barbecue sauce on the side.
