How To Make Spicy Tex-Mex Drumettes
It will be hard to get enough of these chicken drumettes with a spicy rub of hot pepper sauce and other spices. Can you pass us the beer, please?
Ingredients
- 20 piece chicken drumettes , or 10 chicken wings
- 8 oz hunts tomato sauce
- 4 tbsp hot pepper sauce , depending on how hot you want it to be
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
Instructions

For marinade, in a bowl combine Hunt's tomato sauce, hot pepper sauce, oil, lime juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ground cumin.

Place chicken drumettes in a bowl with marinade. If using wings, cut off and discard the tips. Cut wings at joints to make 20 pcs.

Mix occasionally for 2-4 hours. Overnight is good too. Drain chicken reserving marinade.

Place chicken on greased foil-lined baking pan. Bake at 375 degree oven for 30 minutes. Turn chicken over, and pour marinade over top.

Bake for 10- 15 minutes more or until done.
