
How To Make Sausage Turnovers
Best for either breakfast or lunch, these Sausage Turnovers are savory bread filled with tender pork sausage, cream cheese, and fresh mushrooms!

Ingredients
- 16ozpork sausage,(1 package)
- 8ozcream cheese,(1 package)
- 1tspcayenne pepper
- 1tspdried parsley
- 10ozcrescent roll dough,(1 can), refrigerated
- 1cupfresh mushrooms,sliced
Instructions

Crumble the sausage into a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir until browned.

Drain the grease, and mix in the cream cheese, cayenne pepper, parsley and mushrooms. Remove from the heat, and allow to cool.

Chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Unroll the crescent roll dough, and separate at the perforations. Stretch each 1 out as large as it can be without breaking, and place a large spoonful of the sausage mixture at the large end.

Wrap up like a diaper by folding in the sides, and rolling towards the point. Press any openings together to seal. Place on a baking sheet.

Bake for 16 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown.
