How To Make Hoisin-Barbecued Chicken Breasts

Ingredients

  • ½cuphoisin sauce
  • 3tbsprice wine,or white wine
  • 2tbspketchup
  • 1tbspsoy sauce
  • tbspgarlic,minced
  • 4chicken breasts,(about 3 lbs), halves, bone-in skin-on

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine hoisin sauce, wine, ketchup, soy sauce, and garlic.

  2. Trim the chicken breasts of any excess fat and place in bowl. Toss to coat and place in refrigerator to marinate for about 10 minutes.

  3. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Cover a jelly roll pan with foil; arrange chicken skin side up, spooning marinade on top.

  4. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, until juices run clear and an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of a breast reads 170 degrees.

  5. Transfer chicken to a platter; serve warm or at room temperature.
