Minimal ingredients and a quick cooking time make this glazed salmon a very attractive recipe. You get a dish that’s tender, flaky, and full of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2lbssalmon
  • 2tbspolive oil
  • ¼cupbrown sugar
  • ¼cupsoy sauce
  • 3clovesgarlic,minced
  • 1lemon juice
  • 1tspsalt
  • ½tsppepper
  • sliced lemons and chopped parsley,for garnish, if desired

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Lay the salmon on top and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Fold up the sides of the aluminum foil around the salmon.

  2. In a small bowl whisk together the olive oil, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Pour the glaze over the salmon. Top the salmon with aluminum foil and seal.

  3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until salmon is cooked throughout. Take the foil off of the top and baste the salmon with the sauce in the foil.

  4. Broil for 3 to 5 minutes or until brown and caramelized. Garnish with lemon slices and chopped parsley if desired.
