How To Make Easy Shrimp Cocktail

Sink your teeth into this shrimp cocktail, made with juicy and plump baked shrimp, served with a side of tangy cocktail sauce, for a rich appetizer!

Ingredients

For Shrimp:

  • ½lbraw shrimp,easy peel
  • 2tspolive oil
  • ¼tspsalt
  • ¼tsppepper

For Cocktail Sauce:

  • 2tbspketchup
  • 2tsphorseradish,prepared
  • 1tsplemon juice
  • 1tspsalt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.

Shrimp

  1. Rinse the shrimp in the colander under cool running water. Use your clean fingers to peel the shell and legs off of the shrimp, but leave the tails on. Blot the shrimp dry on paper towels.

  2. Toss the shrimp, olive oil, salt, and pepper together in the mixing bowl so that shrimp are coated. Spread the shrimp in a single layer on the baking sheet.

  3. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the shrimp are solid and bright pink.

Cocktail Sauce

  1. Combine the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, and salt in a small bowl. Transfer into a serving dish

  2. Serve with shrimp, and enjoy!
