How To Make Easy Candied Yams

Sink your teeth into these flavorful candied yams tossed in cinnamon, brown sugar, and marshmallows. It’s the perfect side dish for any meal!

Ingredients

  • 2lbssweet potatoes,peeled, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • ½cupunsalted butter,cubed
  • ½cupbrown sugar,packed
  • ¼tspkosher salt
  • 1tspcinnamon
  • 16ozmini marshmallows,optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Toss the sweet potatoes, butter, brown sugar and salt in a bowl.

  3. Transfer them in a 9 x 13-inch pan or on a baking sheet.

  4. Sprinkle over the cinnamon evenly, then bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until fork tender.

  5. Add the marshmallows on top, then broil 6 inches away from the top broiler for 30 to 40 seconds until browned.

  6. Serve warm, and enjoy!
