Ingredients

  • ½cuporange juice,freshly squeezed
  • ¼cuphoney
  • ¼cuprice vinegar
  • ¼cupolive oil
  • 4garlic cloves,minced
  • 3tbspfresh ginger,grated
  • 1tbspsesame seeds
  • ½tspsalt
  • ½tspground black pepper
  • 4salmon fillets,skin-on
  • 3tbspvegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Combine the orange juice, honey, vinegar, olive oil, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, salt, and pepper in a large resealable plastic bag. Add the salmon.

  2. Seal and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.

  3. Place a large cast-iron skillet in the oven. Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F.

  4. Carefully remove skillet from oven when it just barely starts to smoke. Add the vegetable oil and place salmon fillets, skin-side down, in the skillet.

  5. Bake in the hot oven for 5 to 9 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork, or to desired doneness.

  6. Serve immediately and enjoy.
