How To Make Candied Cinnamon-Sugar Nuts
Munch on some sweet and crunchy snacks with these cinnamon-sugar nuts. They’re made with pecans and almonds baked into candied treats.

Ingredients
- 5cupspecan halves,unsalted
- 1cupwhole almonds,unsalted
- 2egg whites
- 2tbspwater
- 2cupsgranulated sugar
- 2½tspground cinnamon
- 2tspsalt
Instructions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper and spray with non-stick spray or use a silicone baking mat. Set aside.

Mix pecans and almonds in a large bowl. Set aside.

Using an electric mixer, beat egg whites and water on medium-high speed for about 4 to 5 minutes until stiff peaks form.

Add the sugar, cinnamon, and salt, gently folding until combined.

Pour/spoon sugar mixture over nuts and stir to coat completely. Spread nuts over the baking sheets and bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.

Allow to cool completely and enjoy.

Store nuts at room temperature for a few weeks, covered.
