A simple recipe to add some variety to your weekly dinner, without having to reach for exotic ingredients. This recipe calls for common ingredients added convenient Bisquick baking mix to make the dough. Delicious meals can also mean simple.

  • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, cut-up
  • 2 oz pimento, diced, drained
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • ½ cup cold water
  • 4 oz mushroom stems and pieces
  • ½ cup green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • tsp pepper


  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees F.

  2. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking dish.
  3. Mix baking mix and water until soft dough forms.
  4. Beat vigorously 20 strokes.
  5. Gently smooth dough into ball on floured cloth-covered board.
  6. Knead 5 times.
  7. Roll dough into rectangle, about 14x10 inches.

  8. Place dough in dish so edges are ½-inch up the sides.

  9. Mix remaining ingredients.

  10. Pour evenly over dough.
  11. Bake until edges are golden and knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 25 minutes.
