Baked Cinnamon French Toast Recipe

How To Make Baked Cinnamon French Toast

Start your day on a sweet note with these french toasts. They’re baked and flavored with cinnamon then served with fresh fruits and rice cereals.

Ingredients

  • 3eggs,slightly beaten
  • cupsfat-free milk,or evaporated fat-free milk
  • 2tbspsugar
  • tspvanilla
  • ¾tspcinnamon
  • 8sliceFrench or Italian bread,(about 3 to 4 inches in diameter)
  • 1cupReady-To-Eat Cereal Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies®
  • 2mediumbananas, sliced,(or 2 cups), sliced fresh strawberries
  • ½cupmaple syrup

Instructions

  1. In shallow dish stir together eggs, milk, 1 tablespoon of the sugar, vanilla, and ½ teaspoon of the cinnamon. Dip bread slices into egg mixture, turning to generously coat both sides.

  2. Place on 15x10x1-inch baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 450 degrees F for about 11 minutes or until light brown.

  3. Meanwhile, in small bowl stir together remaining 1 tablespoon sugar and remaining cinnamon. Turn bread slices. Sprinkle with Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® cereal. Lightly press cereal into bread.

  4. Sprinkle sugar-cinnamon mixture over cereal. Bake at 450 degrees F for about 5 minutes more or until light brown. Top each slice with some banana slices. Serve with syrup.
