How To Make Nutmeg and Sweet Potato Casserole
A sweet and savory casserole with the warming spice of nutmeg and tender chunks of sweet potato.

Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, mix together sweet potatoes, melted butter, brown sugar, nutmeg, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.

Pour egg mixture over sweet potato mixture and stir until well combined.

Transfer mixture to a greased casserole dish.

Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour or until sweet potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
