How To Make Nutmeg and Pear Tart
A deliciously sweet and aromatic dessert filled with juicy pears and a warm spice of nutmeg.

Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 3 ripe pears, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp of ground nutmeg
- 2 tbsp of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg, beaten
- Vanilla ice cream, for serving
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Roll out puff pastry and transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

In a bowl, mix together sliced pears, brown sugar, nutmeg, and melted butter.

Spread the pear mixture over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.

Brush the border with the beaten egg.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.

Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
