How To Make Vegan Nut-Free Cheese Recipe

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of peeled and diced potatoes
  • 1/2 cup of peeled and diced carrots
  • 1/2 cup of chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup of sunflower oil
  • 1/4 cup of nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp of smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp of turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp of white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup of unsweetened plain soy milk
  • 1 tbsp of agar agar flakes

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes and carrots for 15 minutes until fork-tender.

  2. Sauté the onion until translucent.

  3. Add all ingredients including potatoes and carrots to a blender. Blend until smooth.

  4. Pour mixture into a saucepan and heat over medium heat.

  5. Add agar agar flakes and whisk until combined. Bring to a boil.

  6. Reduce heat to low and stir continuously for 5 minutes until thickened.

  7. Pour the mixture into a small dish and smooth out the top.

  8. Refrigerate for 1 hour until firm.

  9. Serve and enjoy!
