How To Make Vegan Coconut Cheese Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of full-fat coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup of nutritional yeast
  • 2 tbsp of tapioca starch
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of onion powder
  • 1 tsp of salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium pot, combine coconut milk, nutritional yeast, tapioca starch, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.

  2. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens and resembles cheese, about 10-15 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and allow the cheese to cool for 10 minutes.

  4. Pour and evenly spread the cheese into a ramekin lined with parchment paper.

  5. Refrigerate for about 1 hour, or until cheese is firm.
