Ingredients

  • 1 lb of white fish, cooked and flaked
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flaked fish, almond flour, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon zest, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and beaten egg until well combined.

  2. Shape the mixture into 8 patties.

  3. In a large skillet, heat the avocado oil over medium-high heat.

  4. Add the fish cakes to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  5. Serve with lemon wedges.
