
How To Make Ham Hock and Mustard Greens Recipe
A hearty dish with melt-in-your-mouth ham hock and mildly spicy mustard greens.

Ingredients
- 2 ham hocks
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 pound mustard greens, rinsed and chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a large oven-safe pot, brown the ham hocks on all sides over medium-hight heat.

Add the onion, garlic, and bay leaf and cook for about 5 minutes.

Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.

Cover the pot and transfer to the oven. Cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until the ham hocks are tender.

In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Sauté the mustard greens for 5-7 minutes or until they have wilted.

Season with salt and pepper.

Serve the ham hocks with the mustard greens on top.
