How To Make 30 Minute Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1cupwarm tap water
  • cupoil
  • ¼cupsugar
  • 2tbspyeast
  • ½tspsalt
  • 1egg,beaten
  • 1tbspsoftened butter
  • 4cupsall-purpose flour
  • cupmilk,room temperature

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. In a large bowl, combine water, oil, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until yeast is bubbly. Stir in beaten egg softened butter and salt.

  3. With a stand mixer or by hand, add flour, one cup at a time until you have a soft dough that isn’t sticky.

  4. Knead by hand for 10 minutes or for 5 minutes with a stand mixer.

  5. Divide dough into 18 even pieces, and form into balls. Place in a greased pan and cover with parchment paper and a kitchen towel.

  6. Let rise for 10 minutes in a warm place.

  7. Lightly brush with milk and bake on the middle rack for 10 to 12 minutes or just until browned.
