Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup rose petal jam

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, powdered sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
  3. Add softened butter to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness and cut into desired shapes.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  6. Allow cookies to cool completely before spreading a layer of rose petal jam on half the cookies.
  7. Top with a second cookie to form a sandwich.
