Ingredients

  • 3 large roses, petals only, white bases removed
  • 5 cups water
  • ½ tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tea bags, quality black or green tea
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Bring 3 cups of the water to a boil.

  2. Add the rose petals and lemon juice then turn off the heat and allow it to sit for 8 to 10 hours.

  3. Strain the rose water into a pitcher.
  4. Discard petals.
  5. Bring the other 2 cups of water to a boil, remove from heat, and place the tea bags.

  6. Brew for 5 minutes.
  7. Remove the tea bags, and add the granulated sugar to the tea. Stir.
  8. Allow this mixture to cool.
  9. Add to the rose water and stir. Serve over ice.
