Caribbean Rum Punch Recipe

This delicious concoction is the traditional rum punch recipe of the West Indies. The old rhyme goes, ‘One of sour, two of sweet, three of strong, four of weak’. Serve it over ice, with fruit garnishes and a sprinkling of grated nutmeg.

How To Make Caribbean Rum Punch

  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 cup simple syrup
  • 3 cup amber rum
  • 4 cup orange juice
  • 4 dashes bitters
  • nutmeg (Freshly grated )
  1. In a pitcher, combine lime juice, simple syrup, rum and orange juice.
  2. Add a few dashes of bitters and some grated nutmeg to taste.
  3. Serve chilled over ice.
