How To Make Homemade Wassail
Enjoy a hot glass of wassail or hot mulled cider for the holiday festivities! It’s rich, fruity, and perfect to serve on those cold winter nights.

Ingredients
- 2¼cupswhite sugar
- 4cupswater
- 2cinnamon sticks
- 1fresh ginger root slice
- 4cupsorange juice
- 2cupslemon juice
- 8cupsapple juice
- 8whole allspice berries
- 1tbspwhole cloves
Instructions

In a large saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Boil for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat, then add the cinnamon sticks, allspice berries, cloves, and ginger.

Cover, then let stand in a warm place for 1 hour.

Strain the liquid into a large pot.

Add the orange juice, lemon juice, and apple juice into the large pot, then quickly bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
