How To Make Frozen Siesta Cocktail
Blanco tequila, simple syrup, Campari, and citrus juice are blended together to make this frozen siesta cocktail serve in a salt-rimmed glass.

Ingredients
For the Simple Syrup:
- ⅓water
- ⅓cupsugar
For the Cocktail:
- 4ozblanco tequila
- 1½ozsimple syrup,(1:1) chilled
- 1½ozCampari
- 1½ozfresh lime juice
- 1½ozfresh grapefruit juice
- 3cupsice
- lime wedge,plus 2 tbsp kosher salt, for rimming the glass
Instructions

To make the simple syrup, mix warm water and sugar in a small mason jar. Seal well and shake until completely dissolved.

Refrigerate until well chilled, and up to 1 week.

Combine tequila, chilled simple syrup, Campari, lime juice, and grapefruit juice in a resealable container.

Seal well and place in freezer for at least 4 hours, and up to 1 day.

Place kosher salt on a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the rims of 2 rocks glasses, then dip the rims in salt. Place glasses in the freezer to chill.

When ready to serve, add the chilled cocktail mix and 3 cups of ice to a blender. Process for about 25 seconds until smooth.

Pour into rimmed glasses and serve immediately. Enjoy!
