  • 3cupsbrown rice,cooked
  • 1cupsoy milk
  • ½cupraisins
  • ½cupalmonds,toasted, chopped
  • ¼cupmaple syrup
  • 1tspground cinnamon
  • ½tspground cardamom


  1. Combine the rice, soy milk, raisins, almonds, maple syrup, cinnamon, and cardamom in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently to prevent scorching, for 5 to 8 minutes, until thickened.

  3. Spoon into 4 bowls, serve, and enjoy!
