How To Make Oatmeal Pie

With its clean, classic flavors, you’ll be sure to impress with this oatmeal pie recipe. It’s chewy & gooey with a delicious caramelized brown sugar flavor.

  • 1pie crust,unbaked, 9-inch
  • 3large eggs
  • 1cupbrown sugar
  • 2tbspcornstarch
  • 1tspcinnamon
  • ¼tspsalt
  • ¾cupcorn syrup
  • ¼cupbutter,melted
  • 1tspvanilla extract
  • 1cupquick oats

    Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

    2. On a floured surface, roll out the pie crust into a circle about 12 inches in diameter.

    3. Transfer the pie dough to a 9-inch glass or ceramic pie plate. Fold over the and crimp then.

    4. Lightly dust the pie dough with flour then place in the fridge as you make the filling.

    5. Whisk the eggs in a large bowl

    6. In a separate bowl stir together the brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt to ensure no lumps in the brown sugar.

    7. Whisk the sugar mixture, corn syrup, melted butter and vanilla extract into the eggs until combined.

    8. Stir in the oats.

    9. Pour the batter into the pie crust.

    10. Bake the pie for 45 to 55 minutes or until the top is set and the middle no longer wobbles.

    11. Remove from the oven and cool fully before serving.
