How To Make Crustless Apple Pies
Topped with luscious vanilla ice cream and caramel, enjoy crustless apple pies with the flavors of cinnamon, oats, and apples for a flaky and fruity plate.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place each apple half flat side down, and use a paring knife to create thin slices all the way across, making sure to stop slicing right before the bottom of the apple. Transfer the apple halves to the prepared baking sheet.
Lightly brush the apple tops with 2 tablespoons of melted butter and sprinkle each with sugar.
Bake for about 25 minutes until the apples are soft and caramelized. Remove from the oven.
In a small bowl, combine the remaining melted butter, sugar, cinnamon, and oats. Once cool enough to handle, spoon the mixture inside the apple slits.
Return to the oven and bake for 10 minutes more.
Let cool, slice, and top each with a scoop of ice cream, then drizzle with caramel. Serve, and enjoy!
