This chocolate muffin recipe is made with a little less sugar than the usual. It is a perfect fix if you are craving sweets for breakfast.

Ingredients

  • cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Grease a regular muffin tin or a muffin tin with fun shapes if you have one.

  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  3. Mix together the cocoa, flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, and salt.

  4. Set aside.

  5. Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, and vinegar.

  6. Add to the flour mixture and stir in the rest of the ingredients too.

  7. Scoop the batter into the muffin tins and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
