A great recipe for during the summer when strawberries are in a surplus, and then in December you’ll still have fresh jam in your freezer.

Ingredients
- 2 cup strawberries, crushed
- 4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 3/4 oz powdered fruit pectin
Instructions

Crush strawberries or process in blender until you have small pieces. Place in large bowl, stir in sugar, mixing well.

In a saucepan bring water and pectin to a boil and boil one minute, stirring constantly.

Stir into fruit mixture and continue stirring 2 minutes to dissolve most of the sugar.

Ladle into freezer glasses or containers; cover with lids.

Let stand until set, about 24 hrs. Store in freezer up to 1 year.
