How To Make Peach & Cardamom Jam

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the chopped peaches, sugar, lemon juice, cardamom, and salt.

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a boil.

  3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until the jam thickens.

  4. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

  5. Transfer the jam to sterilized jars and seal tightly.

  6. Allow the jam to cool completely before refrigerating.
