Easy Strawberry-Fig Jam Recipe

Another jam recipe you can try is this simple fig jam. It’s infused with some strawberry flavors. You can substitute the sugar with Splenda if you want for a diabetic-friendly jam.


How To Make Easy Strawberry-Fig Jam

A simple homemade jam made from fresh peeled figs and strawberry Jell-O.

Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups figs, peeled, mashed, fresh
  • 3 cups sugar, or Splenda
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 3.3 oz strawberry Jell-O, regular or sugar-free

Instructions

  1. Cook figs, sugar (or Splenda) and lemon juice 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Let stand overnight.
  3. Stir in Jell-O and bring to a boil and boil 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Ladle into sterilized jars leaving 1/4-inch head space.
  5. Remove air bubbles.
  6. Wipe rims.
  7. Cap and seal.
  8. Process in a water bath canner for 10 minutes.
