How To Make Baked Pears with Walnuts and Honey

Even with only 4 ingredients, these baked pears pack a punch of flavor from the honey, cinnamon, and walnuts. Serve with yogurt for a sweet breakfast.

Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking: 30 minutes
Total: 35 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2largeripe pears
  • ¼tspground cinnamon
  • 2tsphoney
  • ¼cupwalnuts,crushed
  • yogurt,or frozen yogurt, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Cut the pears in half and place on a baking sheet.

  3. Using a measuring spoon or melon baller, scoop out the seeds.

  4. Sprinkle with cinnamon, top with walnuts and drizzle ½ teaspoon honey over each one.

  5. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Remove, let cool and enjoy!
