Chopped pecans and flavor extract as stuffing for pitted dates.

  • 12 oz dates, preferably Mabroom, large, pitted
  • cups confectioner's sugar
  • cup condensed milk, sweetened
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp almond extract
  • ½ tsp orange extract, or coconut extract
  • tsp salt

For Topping:

  • cup pistachios, finely chopped
  • cup white chocolate, roasted and chopped


  1. For the fondant, whisk to combine sugar, milk, salt, and flavorings. Mix fondant until very smooth and creamy.
  2. Fill each date with roughly 1 tablespoon fondant, then place these onto your lined baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle melted chocolate onto your stuffed dates, then sprinkle pistachios.
  4. Set aside in a chilled area. Allow your chocolate to firm up, roughly an hour.
  5. Serve chilled.
